Security Officer

Patrolling and monitoring — Conducting regular rounds of the premises (on foot, by vehicle, or via CCTV) to detect suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches
Access control — Checking IDs, managing visitor logs, and controlling entry/exit points to restrict unauthorized access
Surveillance — Operating and monitoring CCTV systems, alarm systems, and other security equipment
Incident response — Responding to alarms, disturbances, theft, or emergencies, and taking appropriate action (de-escalation, detainment where legally permitted, or calling law enforcement)
Report writing — Documenting daily activities, incidents, and irregularities in logs or incident reports
Enforcing rules and regulations — Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety codes, and site-specific rules.
