Core Duties and Responsibilities
Analysing financial statements, ratios (e.g., margins, ROE, ROA), historical performance, and KPIs to identify trends, variances, and issues.
Building and maintaining financial models in Excel (or similar tools) for forecasting, budgeting, scenario/sensitivity analysis, valuation, and projections of revenue, expenses, cash flow, etc.
Conducting market, industry, economic, and competitive research; monitoring trends and news.
Preparing reports, dashboards, presentations, and variance analyses for management, executives, or clients.
Evaluating investment opportunities, projects, or portfolios; assessing risk/return and making buy/sell/hold or strategic recommendations.
