Cleaning and hygiene: Sanitizing food preparation surfaces, equipment, utensils, floors, walls, and storage areas; washing dishes, pots, pans, and appliances; emptying and cleaning garbage bins; maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness to meet food safety standards.
Stock and inventory: Receiving and unloading deliveries; organizing and storing food supplies correctly (including rotation by expiry/use-by dates); checking inventory levels and assisting with restocking.
