Reading blueprints and following measurements/specifications
Mixing mortar and applying it evenly with a trowel
Laying bricks, blocks, or stones in straight, level courses
Cutting and shaping materials to fit around corners, openings, and curves
Using levels, plumb lines, and string lines to keep work straight and true
Pointing, tuckpointing, and repairing existing masonry
Installing reinforcement (rebar, wall ties) for structural strength
Cleaning and finishing surfaces (brushing, acid washing joints)
