Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing devices (voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes)
Repair or replace faulty wiring and equipment
Follow state and local building codes when installing systems
Read technical diagrams and blueprints
Direct and train apprentices or junior electricians.
