Key Responsibilities:
Sorting soiled items by color, fabric type, soil level, and washing requirements.
Treating stains using appropriate methods and chemicals.
Loading and operating commercial washers and dryers with correct cycles, temperatures, and detergent/chemical dosing.
Inspecting cleaned items for remaining stains, damage, or wear and flagging items for rewash, repair, or removal.
Folding, stacking, pressing/ironing, and organizing clean laundry to facility standards.
Delivering linen carts to housekeeping or other departments.
Maintaining inventory of detergents, softeners, stain removers, and supplies.
