Personal care (ADLs): bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support.
Basic clinical support: helping with care plans (as directed), monitoring/reporting basic observations (e.g., appetite, fluid intake, comfort level).
Vital support tasks: assisting with transfers, repositioning patients, and preventing falls.
Infection prevention & hygiene: hand hygiene, PPE use, cleaning equipment/areas, following infection-control policies.
Patient wellbeing: observe changes in condition, report concerns promptly to a nurse/supervisor.
Nutrition & hydration: assist with meals, monitor intake as required, offer fluids in line with care plans.
Documentation & communication: record care activities in the correct system/notes
communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and the care team.
