Setting up and operating machinery — Prepare equipment according to work orders, setup sheets, or standard operating procedures (SOPs); load materials; start, run, and adjust machines (manual, semi-automated, or automated).
Monitoring processes — Watch gauges, HMIs (human-machine interfaces), temperatures, pressures, speeds, and other parameters; make authorized adjustments to keep production within specifications.
Quality control — Perform visual inspections, dimensional measurements, weight/fill checks, or other in-process tests; identify and quarantine defective products.
