Core responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in homes, businesses, and factories
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes
Inspect electrical components (transformers, circuit breakers, wiring) for safety and functionality
Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using tools like voltmeters, ohmmeters, and thermal scanners
Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other components
Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety, following state and local building codes.
