Role & Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat problems with teeth, gums, and the mouth
Perform cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
Take and interpret X-rays to spot cavities, bone loss, or other issues
Prescribe medications like antibiotics or pain relievers
Educate patients on oral hygiene, diet, and preventive care
Refer patients to specialists (orthodontists, oral surgeons, periodontists) when needed
Manage a dental practice — supervising hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff
Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
