Waitress/Waiter

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Greeting customers, presenting menus, explaining daily specials, and answering questions about ingredients, preparation, allergens, or portion sizes.
Taking accurate food and beverage orders (including modifications or dietary restrictions) and entering them into a point-of-sale (POS) system or relaying them to the kitchen/bar.
Delivering food and drinks to the correct tables, often carrying trays.
Checking on customers for satisfaction, refilling drinks, and addressing requests or issues promptly.
Preparing simple items (e.g., garnishes, coffee, or basic assembly) in some settings.
Clearing and resetting tables, stocking service stations, and performing opening/closing side work (e.g., rolling silverware, restocking condiments).
