Supports the smooth running of a kitchen by handling preparation, cleaning, and general support tasks so cooks and chefs can focus on cooking.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
Assisting with basic cooking tasks under supervision,
Washing dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
Cleaning and sanitizing food prep surfaces, equipment, and floors.
Receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries correctly.
Transporting supplies between storage and prep areas.
Requirements:
No formal degree is needed.
Comfortable working in hot, humid, or fast-paced environments.
Good hand-eye coordination for knife work and food handling.
Teamwork and clear communication with kitchen staff.
