Cyber security Analyst

Core responsibilities:

Monitor security telemetry (SIEM, EDR, network logs) and triage alerts.
Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, contain threats, and coordinate remediation.
Perform vulnerability scanning, risk assessment, and coordinate patching and mitigation.
Conduct threat hunting and malware/forensic analysis as needed.
Maintain and tune detection rules, alerting thresholds, and playbooks.
Support security assessments, audits, and compliance activities (PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
Produce incident reports, post-incident lessons learned, and security metrics.
Participate in tabletop exercises and improve incident response processes.
