Key Responsibilities:
Load Preparation: Inspect loads and attach lifting gear (slings, shackles, chains)
Rigging & Lifting: Secure loads to cranes and hoists; signal and direct operators during lifting
Equipment Inspection: Check rigging equipment for safety, wear, and damage; perform routine maintenance
Safety Compliance: Follow workplace safety policies, erect safety barriers, and ensure safe work zones
Communication: Coordinate with operators, supervisors, and team members using hand signals or radios
Problem-Solving: Assess site conditions, identify hazards, and adapt to unexpected challenges.
