Core responsibilities:
Load materials (boxes, film, labels), monitor runs, and change over between SKUs.
Inspect packages for quality, correct labeling, weight, and seal integrity; remove/rework defective product.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on packaging machines; escalate complex issues to maintenance.
Keep accurate production, inspection, and downtime records; complete paperwork (production logs, material usage).
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP (if food), ISO, and company safety/quality procedures.
Pack and palletize finished goods, prepare shipping labels, and stage pallets for pickup.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety protocols (lockout/tagout, PPE).
