Typical responsibilities:
Operate and maintain production systems; be part of on-call rotation and incident response.
Triage and resolve production incidents, perform postmortems and drive remediation.
Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and logging/trace pipelines.
Automate repetitive ops tasks: deployments, rollbacks, health checks, runbooks.
Work with developers to improve reliability, observability, and performance of services.
Manage infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.
Capacity planning, cost optimization, and scalability testing.
Maintain security best practices for production environments and manage secrets.
