Driller

Core responsibilities:

Operate drilling equipment (rotary table/top drive, draw works, mud pumps, hoisting systems, pipe-handling systems).
Supervise and coordinate rig-floor crew activities (roustabouts, roughnecks, derrickhands).
Monitor drilling parameters (weight on bit, rotary speed, pump pressure, torque), log changes, and optimize drilling performance.
Maintain and perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on rig machinery and tools.
Conduct pre-shift and post-shift safety and equipment inspections; ensure compliance with safety procedures and permit systems.
Oversee tripping pipe, making up/breaking out drill pipe, casing, and tubing; manage rig-up and rig-down operations.
