Core responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and calculations for loads, stresses, deflections, stability, and dynamic effects (wind, seismic, vibration).
Produce and review structural design drawings, details and specifications for concrete, steel, timber, masonry and composite systems.
Select materials, design connections, foundations, and structural systems aligned with project constraints.
Interpret and apply building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ACI, AISC, ASCE, Eurocode, BS, local codes).
Create, check and stamp engineering calculations, reports and construction submittals.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, fabricators, and clients.
