Key Responsibilities and Duties
Performing routine inspections of wiring, fixtures, panels, motors, lighting, control systems, and appliances to identify wear, hazards, or potential failures.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults using tools such as multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal scanners.
Conducting preventive and corrective maintenance (cleaning, adjusting, tightening connections, replacing worn parts) to minimize downtime.
Repairing or replacing defective components, including breakers, switches, wiring, motors, lighting fixtures, transformers, and control circuits.
Installing or upgrading electrical equipment, appliances, or systems (e.g., connecting new machinery or lighting) when required.
