Key Responsibilities and Duties
Setting up, starting, operating, and shutting down packaging equipment (e.g., filling, sealing, labeling, cartoning, wrapping, or bagging machines).
Loading raw materials, packaging supplies (boxes, cartons, film, labels, glue), and products into machines.
Monitoring production lines for issues such as jams, misfeeds, pile-ups, or improper sealing/labeling, and making authorized adjustments or performing minor troubleshooting.
Inspecting products and packages for quality (defects, correct weight/count, seal integrity, label accuracy, coding) and removing rejects.
Performing changeovers between products or packaging formats.
