Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing routine preventive maintenance (inspecting motors, belts, drives; checking fluid levels; replacing filters; lubricating equipment).
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural issues.
Responding to work orders and emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Inspecting buildings, machinery, and safety systems for hazards or wear.
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and work orders.
Repairing or replacing parts (pumps, motors, valves, wiring, fixtures, etc.).
Maintaining records, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
