Installation & Maintenance:
Install electrical equipment and systems (motors, generators, transformers, control panels, lighting systems)
Perform routine maintenance to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime
Replace worn or damaged electrical components
Ensure all installations meet industry standards and safety regulations
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose electrical faults and system malfunctions
Test electrical equipment using specialized tools and instruments
Repair or replace faulty wiring, cables, and connections
Restore systems to operational status quickly to avoid production delays
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with ATEX (hazardous area) and IECEx standards
Follow offshore safety protocols and regulations
Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and emergency drills
Report hazards and near-misses immediately
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly at all times.
