Core Responsibilities
Staff Management:
Supervise, schedule, and train laundry attendants and washers
Assign daily tasks and monitor workflow to meet turnaround times
Conduct performance reviews and handle minor disciplinary issues
Onboard new staff on equipment use and safety procedures
Operations:
Oversee sorting, washing, drying, ironing/pressing, and folding of linens, uniforms, and guest/patient items
Ensure proper handling of different fabric types (delicates, bulk linens, special-care items)
Monitor chemical/detergent usage and dosing for washing machines
Maintain quality control — checking for stains, damage, or improper cleaning before items are returned.
