Key responsibilities:
Perform daily pre‑start and post‑use inspections of crane and safety systems; report defects.
Read load charts, calculate lift weights and center of gravity, and select appropriate rigging.
Set up crane stabilizers, outriggers, and blocking; verify ground/working surface conditions.
Operate crane controls to lift, swing, travel and set loads precisely and safely.
Coordinate lifts with signal persons, riggers, supervisors and spotters; follow hand/voice signals and radio communications.
Maintain lift records, inspection logs, and equipment maintenance reports.
