Patient preparation
Greet patients and seat them in the operatory
Prepare patients for procedures (as directed by the dentist)
Take and record vitals if required by clinic policy
Chairside assistance
Assist the dentist during exams and procedures
Hand instruments, mix materials, and help with suction and retraction
Take dental impressions/x-rays per local regulations
X-rays & imaging
Take X-rays (bitewings, periapicals, etc.)
Ensure correct exposure and follow safety protocols.
