Key Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct routine inspections of wiring, fixtures, appliances, motors, control panels, circuit breakers, transformers, and related systems to identify faults, hazards, or wear.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using tools such as multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, and thermal imaging; isolate problems in motors, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), VFDs (variable frequency drives), relays, and automation systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance: clean, adjust, tighten connections, replace worn components, repair or rewire circuits, and service lighting, power distribution, HVAC-related electrical systems, and machinery.
