Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Setting up, operating, and adjusting packaging machinery (fillers, sealers, labelers, cartoners, case sealers, blister packers, shrink wrappers, etc.).
Monitoring production lines for efficiency, quality, and proper function; making adjustments or performing minor troubleshooting/maintenance.
Inspecting packaging materials (containers, labels, caps) and finished products for defects, correct labeling, seals, weights, and specifications.
Assembling packaging components, packing products into boxes/bags/crates, labeling, and preparing items for shipment or storage.
Performing line clearances, cleaning/sanitizing equipment and work areas (often under GMP or food safety standards).
