Kitchen Steward

Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils (by hand and/or using dishwashing machines).
Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including floors, workstations, and back-of-house spaces.
Empty trash and recycling; follow waste handling and sorting procedures.
Restock and organize supplies such as detergents, rinse aids, paper goods, and cleaning tools.
Operate and monitor dishwashing equipment safely and report issues.
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment (e.g., pots, pans, racks, cutting boards—when required by policy).
Store items properly to prevent damage and ensure sanitation standards.
Assist with basic kitchen support tasks as needed.
