Job Details
Dispenses prescription drugs, advises patients and healthcare providers on drug use, dosage, side effects, and interactions, and ensures compliance with drug laws and regulations, serves as the bridge between the doctor, the patient, and the medicine.
Review and interpret prescriptions from doctors, dispense medications accurately with proper labelling, check for drug interactions, allergies, and dosage errors also counsel patients on how and when to take medicines, side effects, and storage.
Qualifications includes High school Diploma or equivalent, strong knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics, excellent attention to detail – zero tolerance for error and good communication and counselling skills.
