Job Descriptions
Provides specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, working closely with families and physicians to support young patients through illness, injury, developmental concerns, and preventive care.
Assess, monitor, and document the health status of pediatric patients (vital signs, growth and development, symptoms)
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed, calculated carefully for pediatric dosing.
Provide emotional support and comfort to children and families, using age-appropriate communication.
Monitor for signs of abuse, neglect, or developmental delays and report per protocol.
Ensure a safe, child-friendly environment (infection control, fall prevention, equipment sized for children)
Qualification includes, High school Diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills with both children and anxious parents/caregivers, patience, compassion, and emotional resilience, ability to work in fast-paced, sometimes high-stress environments.
