Design & development: Create control system architectures (PLCs, SCADA, DCS) for automated processes
Programming: Write and debug control logic (ladder logic, PLC code, PID controllers)
Simulation & modeling: Model system behavior using tools like MATLAB/Simulink before deployment
Integration: Connect sensors, actuators, and controllers into a functioning system
Testing & commissioning: Validate systems in the field, tune parameters, troubleshoot faults
