Safety Manager

Core Responsibilities:

Policy development — Create, implement, and update workplace health and safety programs, policies, and procedures in line with legal requirements (e.g., OSHA in the US, HSE in the UK)
Risk assessment — Identify hazards through inspections, audits, and job hazard analyses; assess likelihood and severity of risks
Compliance management — Ensure the organization meets local, state/provincial, and federal safety regulations; maintain required certifications and permits
Incident investigation — Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and injuries; determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
