Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Research and recommend investments or capital allocation decisions.
Evaluate current and historical financial data, including company financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
Study economic, industry, and business trends.
Build and maintain financial models (e.g., three-statement forecasts, DCF valuations, budgets, scenario/sensitivity analyses).
Prepare reports, variance analyses (actual vs. plan/forecast), and presentations for management or clients.
Meet with company officials or stakeholders to gain insights into prospects and performance.
Assess risks, performance metrics (margins, ROE, ROA, etc.), and opportunities for improvement.
