Job descriptions
Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites, following blueprints, schematics, and local/national electrical codes. The role blends hands-on installation work with troubleshooting, quality checks, and coordination with other trades.
Core duties includes, reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to plan layouts for wiring and equipment, installing conduits (EMT/PVC), pulling wire, terminating connections, and assembling circuit breakers and panels, also performing main panel upgrades, wiring changes, and system updates in homes and commercial buildings and inspecting work for code compliance and quality (crimping, terminations, grounding) and completing self-inspections or punch-lists.
Qualifications:
High school Diploma or equivalent
Ability to read schematics/blueprints and apply electrical codes.
Hands-on experience with wiring, conduit, terminations, panel work, and basic controls.
Physical stamina: climbing ladders, carrying equipment, working in confined spaces or at heights.
