Key Responsibilities:
Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using GPS or route-planning tools
Load and unload cargo, ensuring it’s secured properly to prevent damage
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, lights, fluids, brakes)
Maintain accurate delivery/trip logs, mileage records, and fuel receipts
Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies
Communicate with dispatch or supervisors about delays, issues, or route changes
Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and report any mechanical issues promptly
Provide good customer service when interacting with passengers or clients.
