Forklift Operator

Core Responsibilities:

Loading/unloading trucks, trailers, and shipping containers
Moving materials within a facility — from receiving to storage, storage to production lines, or to shipping areas
Stacking and organizing pallets and inventory in warehouse racking systems, often at height
Reading work orders or pick lists to know what needs to be moved and where
Inspecting the forklift before each shift (tires, forks, brakes, hydraulics, warning lights/horn) and reporting defects
Maintaining inventory accuracy — sometimes scanning barcodes or updating counts as items are moved.
