Safety Manager

Policy development — Create and maintain workplace safety programs, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Compliance — Ensure the organization meets local, national, and industry-specific regulations (e.g., OSHA in the US, NEBOSH/HSE standards in the UK, or equivalent national bodies elsewhere)
Risk assessment — Identify hazards, conduct job hazard analyses, and implement controls to reduce risk
Incident investigation — Lead investigations into accidents, near-misses, and injuries; determine root causes and corrective actions.
