Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, welding symbols, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
Measure, calculate dimensions, and prepare materials (cutting, grinding, bevelling, cleaning joints).
Set up and operate welding equipment (adjusting amperage, voltage, travel speed, gas flow).
Perform welds in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)
Monitor the process, control heat to avoid defects, and inspect finished work for quality (visual checks, measurements).
