Core Responsibilities
Design structural systems (buildings, bridges, industrial structures) to resist loads like gravity, wind, seismic, and lateral forces.
Prepare structural calculations and analysis using engineering methods and software.
Create and review structural drawings and details for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, timber, and foundations.
Perform load modelling and structural design checks per applicable codes and standards.
Develop foundations design (footings, mats, piles) including soil-structure interaction when needed.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure constructability and integration.
