Rigger

Assessing loads (weight, size, center of gravity, balance, and structural integrity).
Selecting and preparing appropriate rigging gear based on load specifications and conditions.
Inspecting equipment before and after use for damage, wear, or defects.
Attaching loads securely using proper hitches, angles, and hardware.
Setting up, aligning, leveling, and anchoring machinery or structures.
Controlling and maneuvering suspended loads (including tilting or guiding them around obstacles or through confined spaces) using hand signals, radios, or verbal directions to crane/hoist operators.
Performing mathematical calculations for load capacities, angles, and equipment limits.
