Typical Responsibilities:
Install and commission pumps, motors, valves, pipes, and control systems
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and control-system problems
Disassemble, repair, and rebuild pumps
Replace seals, bearings, impellers, gaskets, couplings, and other components
Align pumps and motors and check vibration, pressure, flow, and temperature
Test equipment after repair and confirm safe operation
Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and maintenance instructions
Record service work, parts used, test results, and equipment condition
Respond to breakdowns and emergency repair requests.
