Operating cranes (mobile, tower, overhead/bridge, crawler, etc.) to lift, move, and position heavy materials or equipment
Reading load charts and calculating weight, angle, and swing radius to ensure safe lifting capacity
Inspecting the crane before and after each shift — cables, hooks, brakes, hydraulics, and other mechanical components
Communicating with signal persons, riggers, and ground crew using hand signals or radio
Performing basic maintenance and reporting mechanical issues
Keeping accurate logs of inspections, maintenance, and lift activities.
