Painter

Core Responsibilities:

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling holes/cracks, and applying primer
Select and mix paints, stains, and finishes to match specifications or color requirements
Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Cover and protect surfaces, furniture, and fixtures not being painted (masking, drop cloths)
Estimate the amount of paint/materials needed for a job
Inspect finished work for quality and touch up as needed.
