Core responsibilities:
Design control system architectures (feedback loops, PID controllers, PLCs, SCADA systems)
Develop and simulate control algorithms (using tools like MATLAB/Simulink)
Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces)
Select and specify sensors, actuators, and instrumentation
Test and commission control systems on-site
Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance, safety, and efficiency
