Operates and monitors packaging machinery and lines to pack finished goods safely, efficiently, and to quality/specification standards. Performs setup, changeovers, basic troubleshooting, quality checks, housekeeping, and documentation to meet production targets and safety/food-safety/regulatory requirements.
Core responsibilities:
Load materials (film, cartons, labels, adhesives) and ensure correct consumables and settings for each run.
Perform in-process checks: weight, count, seal integrity, label accuracy, coding/lot/date printing.
Adjust machine settings and perform minor mechanical/electrical adjustments to maintain product quality and throughput.
Conduct changeovers between SKUs quickly and safely; follow standard work/checklists.
Identify, log, and report equipment faults; escalate complex issues to maintenance.
Maintain continuous line flow: rework, inspect rejects, and clear jams to minimize downtime.
Required qualifications & skills
High school diploma or equivalent, Attention to detail and quality-focused.
Good manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
Ability to follow SOPs and checklists precisely.
Team player with good communication.
Comfortable with repetitive tasks and sustained standing.
Basic computer literacy for data entry
