Laundry Supervisor

Key Responsibilities includes;

Supervise laundry staff (assign shifts, train new employees, review performance).
Organize workflow: sorting (whites/colors/special items), washing, drying, folding, ironing/pressing (if required), and distribution.
Ensure quality control: stain removal checks, correct handling of soiled items, proper finishing, and packaging.
Maintain hygiene and safety standards:Follow infection-control procedures (especially healthcare settings)
Use PPE (gloves, masks, aprons) when required
Ensure safe chemical handling and proper ventilation
Monitor equipment (washers, dryers, ironers/presses, extraction units):Report faults and ensure correct operation
Track maintenance schedules

Required skills:

Strong leadership and communication
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain productivity
Understanding of laundry chemicals, fabric care, and sanitation procedures.
