Set up packaging machines (fillers, sealers, cartoners, case packers, labelers, palletizers) for production runs.
Load materials (film, cartons, labels), changeovers, adjust machine settings and tooling.
Monitor line performance and product quality; inspect seals, fill weights, labels, codes and packaging integrity.
Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues; perform basic maintenance and cleaning.
Record production data: counts, downtime, scrap, rework, and shift handoffs.
Required skills and qualifications includes: High school Diploma or equivalent, Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical/PLC familiarity.
Ability to read work orders, packaging specifications, and measure product (scales, calipers).
Basic math skills, attention to detail, strong manual dexterity.
Ability to work in fast-paced, repetitive environments.
Good communication and teamwork.
