Key Job Details:
Perform preventive maintenance (lubrication, alignment, belt/chain adjustments, bearing replacement).
Diagnose mechanical problems using visual inspection, measurements, and test equipment; isolate root cause.
Repair/replace mechanical components: bearings, gears, shafts, couplings, seals, valves, pumps, motors, gearboxes.
Install, align and level new machinery and rebuild components as required.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, P&IDs and manuals.
Required skills & attributes
Mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
Blueprint reading and mechanical assembly skills.
Precision alignment and measurement.
Welding/fabrication and basic machining skills.
Basic electrical/controls literacy (motors, starters, sensors, PLC I/O).
Problem solving, attention to detail, safety mindset, teamwork, communication.
