Core responsibilities:
Load and unload trucks, railcars, and containers; stage shipments; and palletize/secure loads.
Stack and retrieve product in racking using correct lifting methods and placement.
Perform pre‑shift and periodic equipment inspections; report defects and perform basic, approved maintenance (e.g., battery charging, topping, tire checks).
Verify incoming/outgoing shipments against packing lists and manifests.
Use RF scanners / warehouse management system (WMS) to record inventory moves and update order status.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow site safety procedures and PPE rules.
Required skills & qualifications such as:
Proven forklift operating experience .
Basic reading/math for inventory counts, load paperwork and WMS entries.
Good spatial awareness, coordination and ability to maneuver loads in tight spaces.
Comfortable using handheld scanners, tablets, or WMS; basic computer literacy.
