Core Responsibilities:
Develop and test prototypes to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on electrical/mechanical systems.
Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, production, project management).
Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC/IEC—varies by region/industry).
Create bill of materials (BOM), wiring diagrams, and wiring/installation guidelines.
Support commissioning, installation, and field testing.
Maintain quality and compliance during manufacturing and project delivery.
Typical Qualifications & skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Circuit analysis and electrical theory
CAD/engineering tools (e.g., AutoCAD/EPLAN—depends on role)
Simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE—depends on role), Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and safety mindset
Clear written and verbal communication
